INTRODUCING: TUESDAY NIGHT PADDLE BOARD YOGA CLASS

Due to the success, we have decided to add a Tuesday Night Paddle Board Yoga class each week in addition to Thursday Night.

Paddle Board Yoga is intended to bring the Palisade community together while enjoying an extravagant private lake in the heart of Palisade. Adding a Tuesday Night class will allow for more people to enjoy the grounding experience yoga on a paddle board has to offer. All of the paddle board equipment is provided by Dave from Pali-Tours and Float Palisade. You must be signed up through the link in order to receive the location. The location will be released a day before the event. There are only 10 spots available, so everyone that comes must sign up before arrival. Bring your friends, sunscreen, water, and a good attitude! Scan the QR code above for the link to sign up!

Thursday Night Paddle Board Yoga at 6 pm

Every Tuesday/Thursday in August, Paddle Board Yoga is only $30 which includes paddle board equipment and a 45 minute yoga class.

Paddle Board Yoga allows for a more grounding experience with the nature around you by feeling the movement of water underneath you, hearing the chirping of the birds around you, and feeling the wind blowing across your sun kissed skin.

Through a proper warm up of the muscles, I prepare you for a peak standing pose. You are welcome to attempt the pose, or I offer another pose for you to join along in.

Take this practice at your own pace, and you’ll be pleasantly surprised with all that you can accomplish. As a group, we support each other and celebrate each other’s accomplishments.

Join Blondie for a Glass of Wine or Hike!

Every month, join me for a glass of wine at a winery or a hike. Let’s explore the local community together!

Through yoga, I have met some amazing women. Women who are talented, fun, funny, intelligent, and so much more. I have learned something from each one of you. I would love to spend time with you outside of the yoga realm to enjoy our local community together.

On August 12th at 11 am, let’s grab a glass of wine at one of the 40+ wineries in Palisade each month. In August, we will be at Book Cliff Vineyards There will be no cost to come, besides your drink purchases. The winery will be selected based off of how many women would like to join. Ideally, each month we will try a different winery. By supporting the local community, we can see businesses thrive.

On August 26th at 7 am, lets hike the Palisade Rim Trail together, as always dogs included. The Palisade Rim Trail is a 3.3 mile out and back trail near Palisade. All Trails claims it takes an hour and a half to complete it. Technically, the trail is considered a moderately challenging. We can stop as many times as needed to complete it. Since it is still August, we will be completing the trail early in the morning before it heats up. There is no cost to hike, just sign up through my website so I know how many people to expect.

Scan the QR code above or reserve online at blondie yoga.com to reserve your spot. There is no cost, besides what you purchase, to attend.

Anjali Mudra~ “Prayer Hands”

In Sanskrit, Anjali means “to offer” and Mudra means “seal”. Anjali Mudra means to “honor and celebrate this moment”.

Mudras are hand positions used intentionally in poses for different internal and external benefits. Anjali Mudra is used to help ground, create, and seal personal intention of the day’s yoga practice. It reminds us to keep peace throughout the practice. Placing prayer hands in between our chest represents balance and harmony between the right and left side of the body. Remember this next time you close your practice with Anjali Mudra.
