Who is Blondie?
My name is Tara Alexis.
I embrace the practice of yoga on the Western Slope of Colorado, where I’ve created a space for women to move, breathe, and be themselves in nature. I also enjoy the ride of life—whether that’s skateboarding through Grand Junction, line dancing under the stars, or sharing dinner dates with my girlfriends after a sunset paddle board yoga class in Western Colorado.
I appreciate the simple things: a good song, mountain views during yoga, and my love for disco balls and aliens. My go-to drink order? A Diet Coke with lime, always. My soulmate is my dog, a 23-pound Mini Schnauzer named Wilson—also known as Willie Nelson or Little Chicken. Unfortunately, Wilson stays home during my outdoor yoga classes near Palisade.
I love baking (yes, I bring treats to class on occasion) and I’m known for my blonde hair, bold style, and warm personality.
Whether I’m leading a women’s yoga retreat on the Western Slope, or chatting with someone new after class, I find joy in authentic connection.
From my hardships, Blondie Yoga was born—blending paddle board yoga, Western Colorado vibes, and a community of women seeking self-love, laughter, and light.

My Promise to You
Everyone is welcome in my classes—whether you’re new to yoga on the Western Slope, returning to your mat after a break, or exploring stand-up paddleboard (SUP) yoga in Colorado for the first time.
No matter your background, race, size, or gender, my yoga sessions are a safe and inclusive space for all bodies and identities.
In every class—from sunset lakeside yoga near Palisade to women’s empowerment yoga retreats in Western Colorado—hate has no home here. I am here to offer love, support, and encouragement however you need it.
Whether you join me for gentle yoga in nature on the Western Slope or a bold and playful session with music and movement, know this: you are perfect just as you are, and I celebrate you for being exactly that.
